We deliver floor screeds to self builders anywhere within the UK mainland, supply and installing both site mixed and ready mixed screeds from our nationwide network of blue chip supply chain partners.

We predominantly work with major building contractors, construction companies, shop fitters and property developers however we regularly supply and install floor screeds into the self build housing market, particularly where underfloor heating systems are being installed.

Our floor screed systems provide a thermally efficient substrate over water based and electric underfloor heating pipework. Underfloor heating systems have become a popular choice within the self build and home improvement market, because of their thermal efficiency, aesthetic appeal and space saving benefits.

If you are looking for an efficient setup from your water-based or wet underfloor heating (UFH) on your building project, and you’re working with a solid floor, then you’ll need to lay UFH pipework into something that aids the transfer of heat.

That’s where Interior Screed comes in! The two most common options are traditional ‘dry’ versions and ‘Flowing’ types. They not only allow you to prepare the surface for the finished floor covering, but also act to absorb warmth from the UFH pipework and radiate it into the room above. Our floor screed’s excellent thermal mass properties helps to maintain comfortable, even temperatures as well as reducing energy use and running costs.

Floor Screeds should usually be laid as quickly as possible after the UFH is in place, partly to minimise the risk of damage to the pipework. The system should be pressure-tested for leaks before work begins, and pressure maintained while the screed is laid.
